I'm off to Aston Abbotts (Bucks) tomorrow to take my parents to visit my Mum's long time friend (since school) who will be 80 later this month. Mother will be 80 next March and there still seems to be plenty of life in the pair of them! Dad does like a 'bit of a doze' in the afternoons tho, and I can see the benefits in that even at (nearly) 53!
Sunday 7th sees the local area's annual group Christian celebrations at my local C of E church at which Methodists, Catholics and Salvation Army members (and others) join in. I will be playing in a couple of the hymns with my trusty trumpet - tunes are Coe Fen and Lobe Den Herren. Had a good practice last night and will hopefully do the same on Thursday when it is also 'our' choir practice night. Next week it's full steam ahead for S104...
