...I knew it - S104 takes over!
I had a good weekend though and spent Saturday afternoon with my son.
I haven't seen him for nearly a year as he is usually in either Cardiff (at Uni) or at home with his Mum near Llanelli. These places are too far for me to 'just come and visit' these days, with my studies (and health concerns) precluding any lengthy stays away from home.
I even managed to 'persuade' him to go to the local Pizza Express - the place for me to eat out at these days - and he paid

It is worth saying that if Carol hadn't come to see her parents (Laurence's other Grandparents) I wouldn't have seen him for a while longer. My ex in-laws (I suppose) live only a couple of miles away from me and my parents house and I see Eric (other Granddad) more than I see number one and only(!) son. Even though Carol and I split around 10 years ago and are now divorced, both parents have remained friends and Eric sometimes 'pops-in' to say Hi
Yep, and as we're there (although I doubt that Laurence will read this...) thanks for buying the Pizza's at the weekend
