I often refer to my local pub as the 'Moon Under Water', I think George Prwell invented the name.
So last night, just as we were all about to be chucked out, a huge thunderstorm came along and rain fell in Biblical proportions for about two hours. There was a flash flood and the floor of the pub was under water, and the traditional underground cellar was flooded about two feet deep.
We didn't have an Ark apart from the pub and it was letting water, so we all had to help bail out. And we did, it was actually a rather inspiring example of cooperation.

Not the cellar mind you, that will need pumping equipment. Maybe no beer tomorrow.

I don't know. The lengths people will go to to get a lock-in...
