There is a Haiku competition at work so I submitted a few and thought I would share:

The blind do not see

The beauty in the garden

Eyes without windows

A  life lived in fear

Worrying about dying

We forget to live

And my favourite of the three - 

I closed the door to

Keep death from entering, like

Canute by the sea.
