During the lockdown I have really appreciated nature more. Whether it is walking in the countryside, my local park or just being in the garden. Looking at green spaces, trees or water features. Listening to birdsong πand breathing cleaner air. I stay indoors and I am enjoying the studies with the OU.
Β I really haven't missed going by bus πinto the cityπ and the hustle and bustle of the busy city roads.πππ I have just enjoyed the peace and quiet. At first it seemed very strange and disconcerting being out in an empty quiet street but then I came to like it, and started thinking, imagine if it could be always like this ?Β
No noisy cars, buses or vehicles without all the pollution that brings with it. What if cities could be as calm and quiet as the countryside with lovely green πππ‘π²π³areas, more parks, trees, allotments and roof top gardens?
As lockdown lifts things will get busier and noisier again and maybe we will miss the quiet, cleaner streets. Just a thought.
Enjoying cleaner air and birdsong.
