Visible to anyone in the world

🚜 🌾

We had a great walk this afternoon across the fields. The weather was sunny and there was a nice cool breeze. It is coming slowly to the end of the summer, but still some sunny days left.
🌅
First we walked through the park, then out onto the country lane,  that leads to the fields.
The farmers and workers had been busy for the past few days,  harvesting the wheat  fields, it is a bit earlier this year,. When we passed the barns,  we saw two  large stacks of hay, piled up high into neat squares of hay,  one on top of another. 🟧

Next we walked a bit further on, we heard a cockrel and saw some hens, they were running around freely in the  green meadow.  They looked very happy and they could go into their little wooden house, if they got too hot or tired outside!

There was a lot of activity at this time of year and very  busy farm workers gathering in the wheat. Lots of new workers we had not seen before. Tractors and harvesters driving past us.

🏡The lady who lived nearby in the stone cottage,  was bringing them some fresh water and food for the chickens. She smiled to us as we passed by and she said "Hello, lovely day" the man near to the tractor, who was her husband I guessed,  joked  "Is it hot enough for you?" He asked.
" It's Just right!" I replied enthusiastically with a big smile and a thumbs up!

🏞  Continuing on our walk ,  we got onto the  narrow footpath that led through the field. The wheat had recently been cut,  so we had a clear view ahead. To the right in the middle of the field, was the reservoir bordered by a row of saplings. On the other side was a very dense wood. Up ahead was a small hill.

🦢
We stopped briefly to watch the white swans gliding gracefully across the water of the reservoir, there were  also some ducks and moor hens at the far side. We even saw a big fish pop it's head up out of the water just nearby and then it dived down again with a big splosh!🦈

🛤
The next bit of the walk was a bit bumpy and quite hard going,  not helped by the fact that there were so many hoof prints from the horses and ponies, they always take their morning canter there every day with their riders. Our feet kept sliding into the hoof marks! We had to watch out for the horse droppings too!  It was a bit tricky but we managed it by holding on to each others hands. We laughed like children as we stumbled about trying to walk straight across the uneven field!

⛲The last lap of our journey leads us up the hill on a nice wide track, that crossed over a stream with bubbling water coming out of a pipe cascading  into the stream.

This gradual steep climb,  terminates at the top of a hill,  which has an incredible  panaramic view, of the route upon which  we have just travelled.

🐑🐑
Below us was a large green meadow with a flock of sheep grazing in a field,  and two slow moving tractors moving up and down the next field,  gathering up the hay, then a harvesting machine in the neighbouring wheat field,  the reservoir which was sparkling in the sunlight lay ahead at the far side.  The harvested wheat field, that we had crossed,  lay just below that and beyond it was a large wood.

🌲🌲🌲
Now we sit down with a big sigh of relief on a green grassy area, just in front of a gate, looking through it we could still see the view..

We took our sandwiches out of the back pack, and a cool drink to go with it. It was good to rest in the sunshine, before we make  our way,  all the way back down the hill and onto the lane that leads us home.    ⛰

When I am here,  outside in the fresh air and walking, all my troubles seem to disappear!  💭
