Finally finished parts 1, 2 and 3 of the TMA 01 of E302. All I have to do now is to tidy and polish them up , then to type them on the computer, easier said than done!
Found it all very interesting, because I really like Poetry, so it was a great discovery, to find out all about the different literary devices, used in analysing poetry.
Thing is, I am very busy at the moment, and I will also be busy again next week, with lots of appointments and other family commitments, which will keep me occupied!
I will have to just try to squeeze some studying time in, somehow, whenever I get the chance. Anyway hubby's now been jabbed with Covid booster today, but I will have to wait a bit longer for mine, even though I am 50 + so I don't know when.
I decided that I now prefer studying in the mornings, because I feel fresher and have much more energy and strength. After breakfast and medication times, my son can entertain himself for a couple of hours.
This afternoon when I finished studying, I went off for a walk to the far end of the village. I bought some organic veges. Kale, carrots, courgettes, onions, leeks, broccoli spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms.
I came home and made a family favourite, some chinese pancakes, filled with rice and soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. I made batons with some of the veges I bought today. and stir-fried in the Wok. A Soy sauce to dip them in.
I put some quorn chicken and veggie sausage inside pancakes and make them very savoury. Desert was poached pears in red wine, vanilla, sugar and a sweet berry sauce (all from the garden) with fresh cream. Very tasty! I ate well as I was so hungry, after the brisk walk in the cold fresh air!
Feeling revived ! so I am now going to plod on and do some more studying! So it's Onwards and upwards as they say!

Hi Gill,
I hope your son recovers soon from his infection it is always worrying when they are not well.
The food you made sounds delicious and comforting.
I also find the mornings a good time to study my focus tends to come and go so learning to break up my study days into blocks, l have started to listen to my body more and take note when it shouts, 'No more today' instead of ploughing on and being fit for nothing for a couple of days afterwards!
Hope the appointments go well.
Take care and l hope you have a good weekend .

Hi Hede,
Thank you for your support. It's just a rough patch I hope. I try to think positively, like I have a lovely warm fire, and enough food to eat, so thats the main thing.
I hope all is well with you and that your health is ok at the moment and that you managing alright with life.
Best wishes
Gill
