Hi Gill
My favourite smell is the scent of sweetpeas
It brings back memories of my favourite aunt who grew them each year
I would spend all my summer holidays and any other holiday if i could get away with it with them on the farm
Still miss her after many years

Hi Judith,
Sweet peas are lovely ! I should have put it on the list but I forgot. They do indeed smell really good!
It is nice that certain smells can bring back good memories like of your aunt. I hope your studies are going well and that you are finding it interesting.
Best wishes
Gill
My favourite smell
My favourite smell is the smell of opium perfume. It reminds me of when I was sixteen and had my first boyfriend and my first expensive present. It was a time when I was young and innocent. I thought there was good in everyone I met. It was a time I had so many new experiences in life, with butterflies in my stomach. A time with so many dreams and plans. I am now fifty-three, and opium is still my favourite perfume.

Hi Julie,
What a lovely story you gave behind the scent of Opium!
I have never smelt this particular perfume, but it must have been very alluring to have had such powerful unforgetable effect.
Thank you
Gill
