Reading - any suggestions?

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Gill Burrell, Wednesday, 1 Jun 2022, 15:31

Now that I have finished off my EMA level 3 English, I will have more time to be able to read some interesting books, as I look ahead to next term when I will have level 3 French to complete. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of any good books to read?
Perhaps in either in English or in French?

Many thanks.

Just finished Animal farm. Written quite childishly for my liken but then again it was a  child’s Fairy Story.

Now going to try ‘1984’

These are not my usual books so out of my comfort zone  I tend to go for crime or horror

Hi Judith.

I read  'Animal farm' before and although it is a bit childish, there are some parallels with those in power, whether they be left or right, the power always goes to their heads!

1984 sounds like a good choice!  I might read that one. I heard It is very interesting, good idea !

I Hope all is well with you have you done your last EMA ?

Best wishes
