We should be kind to animals

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Gill Burrell, Sunday, 10 Jul 2022, 15:54

We must fight against the spirit of unconscious cruelty with which we treat the animals. Animals suffer as much as we do. True humanity does not allow us to impose such sufferings on them. It is our duty to make the whole world recognize it. Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, humanity will not find peace.

And each other. This applies to women, and minority groups and others who are discriminated against. Someone who disrespects the right of animals to exist with kindness, will also disrespect other people and things, and of course themselves, which is where it begins.

With the cost of living crisis, the hot weather and people under pressure. Pets can suffer at this time of year, there should be a food bank for pets too!
I had to switch to a cheaper brand of cat food for my two. At first they were a bit put out, but they soon got used to it (as some people have too!)
Many people have even had to give their pets away. That's a great pity pets are such good companians for a lot of people.

It's priorities, isn't it? It seems that for some people, their pet is the first thing to go. My Felix was with me and a priority, a member of my family.

At the very least you'd rehome. But, it's the same as what I said... what they see when they look at the animal.... a soul? Or a possession?

Same for how they view people.

Yes, they treat people and animals just as possesions sometimes.
