Public services are in decline, there is no doubt of that.
This has been quietly happing under our noses for several years but has come to the fore in more recent times as governments have become complacent with the thought that, "society will not be interested in the selling off of public services."
Who is it that awards the the bonuses and decides the going rate for public oops, private companies ?
It appears it is down to the employer to decide how bonuses are paid, yet again we are told about the 'going rate' if that is the case, the ultimate employer would be the government. These are public services they are meant to be there to enhance the well being of the whole of society not just a few.
Tax payers money is literally being poured down the drain by those that society depend on .
Is that our fault ?
What makes us put more trust in the men and women from privileged backgrounds rather than men and women who have worked their way up and still live and have contact with 'ground floor' society ?

Is it a hang over from our generational past?
