Well what to say, i finally had that moment. You know the moment where your brain pushes you to do something you have talked about for years. I am excited, trepidation is setting in, excitement, curiosity my mental fragility going back and forth "Will I or wont I be able to this?"
Yet its time to hunker down, borrow my wife's heels then dig them in deep. Yes i am a wild spray of emotions but its time i challenged myself and held myself up to a higher standard what ever the outcome shall be.

Hi Patrick. I just read your latest comment on the forum, and knew from our earlier tutorial that you are going through the most awful time. I am so sorry to hear about your mother and can only imagine how difficult it must be to want to spend what time she has left with her, while balancing your studies and family life. I spent 10 years supporting English-speaking living in France who are touched by cancer, and have personally experienced people going through the same illness as your Mum, so I have some idea of the effects on loved ones. For her she is not only having to deal with an end-of-life situation, but she will probably feel guilty at causing so much distress, as well as coping with the pain and weakness that comes with this terrible illness. Talking things through, especially with someone not emotionally involved, can be a great help, especially if you can be sure the person you confide in is non-judgmental and actually listens. Thinking of you.

I'm just wondering how things are for you - I imagine they're pretty tough, and I wonder how you fit everything in now that the course is hotting up.
