Coca-Cola cares a lot about climate change, like the most of the trade-based lunatics.Because they have no choice - they need to TRADE.
Soft
drink giant Coca-Cola Co.’s sponsorship of the flagship U.N. climate
conference, known as COP27, sparked an online backlash and highlighted
broader concerns about corporate lobbying and influence.
Companies
have become sneakier than ever. If you accuse one of creating and
distributing useless bottled water, they won't fight you, they will
applaud you, agree with you, say that they do whatever they can to
recycle their bottles, and continue to do the same as they always did.
They will invest in useless and pointless recycling campaigns and
projects, they will make ads saying how much they care about plastic
recycling, and basically embrace all criticism, then use it to advertise
their business, while never changing their practices.
This is very concerning, but not surprising. They seem untouchables.
These entities have an incentive to keep on trading, because the society is
built this way. If we do not move away from a trade-based society to one
where trade is obsolete, then we are not going to change anything.
Period.
A company that trades sugary water in a plastic bottle,
cannot care about the environment. At least not much at all. Their
profits, the competition with their competitors, all of that enchains
them to care about their own business regardless.
We will continue to voice these truths via TROM. And if you want to help, you voice them too!
