This week I am taking part in the Cross-Laguages forum and it is proving to be fascinating ! After making my contribution (french secularism) I was able to read contributions by other students spanish and german. I was impressed by the variety of topics that were being discussed! I feel that I am learning a lot about other cultures that I never knew before. This activity is a concept developed by Sociologist Graham Gibbs in 1988 emulates the idea of learning through takng part in activities in collaboration with others. This activity uses intercutural skills as well as language skills and developing knowledge in social skills.
