Unusual cloud formation

Visible to anyone in the world

A friend spotted these unusual clouds. They seem to be cirrus but they look so distinctive that I wondered if they had a special name.

Interesting! I wonder how they form. Sadly, I do not know if there is a name for them.
SXR103 chemistry is fun (2008) :-)

I wonder if they are plane contrail cirrus?

I see similar formations here after a plane has passed high overhead. They start as a clear line and then gradually are blown into cirrus shapes by air currents.
