Peter tells us that "Love covers a multitude of sins" He echoes the old proverb, "Hatred stirs up strife but love covers all sins"

Christs loving sacrifice for us covered all our sins. Once we realise we can have this wonderful gift from God and embrace it, then in the same way our love for one another and for God covers our sins. Therefore, Love is the fulfillment of the law.
