Our God is a good and compassionate God.
"His mercies never cease" (Lamentations3.22. Bible Old Testament)
Lamentations is a book in the Old testament that can give us hope. It is a book about the grief that Jeremiah and God's people felt after the city of Jerusalem had been destroyed by the Babylonians and now the people who lived there were faced with uncertainty and exile, but God promised them that 'because of His great love for them they will not be consumed.' He had made a covenant with them and that would remain with them forever.
In life when disaster strikes us or we find ourselves facing difficulties that threaten to completely destroy us, we
should pray and put our whole trust in God. He will be our friend and support us.
He will help us, He will give us hope and provide for us according to our needs, Because "His mercies never cease"
Trust in God. He loves you and wants to help you. You are his dear child. Pray to him and talk to Him,follow his commandments in the Old Testament of the Bible and in the New Testament follow teachings of Jesus.
Here are a few reminders of God's love from the Bible.
" For God so loved the world (us)....(John3.16)
"He will not forsake us.....Deuteronomy 31.6
He will observe your coming in and your going out"...........( Psalm 121)
For he shall give his angels charge over thee....... (Psalm 91 v11)
So Remember let us take courage and have faith, for God is with us.
Deuteronomy 31:6: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

Some lovely thoughts there, Gill. "Observing coming and going" is a blessing when life is governed by a clean conscience. It reminds me of King David's words to "Search me" in the psalms. It's the voice of innocence.

Hi Jim,
Thank you for your comment.
The Psalms are lovely like poems. God called David (the author)a man after my own heart.
