I was once asked to be a Bible Reader at our local church(they said I had a nice clear voice)  At that time I was rather shy, I doubted myself and my reading abilities. However, since taking an "English Language course" with Open University I have gained a lot of confidence through my studies of english, especially with the Oral presentations.

Now, I could feel even  possibly confident enough to become a volunteer Reader at church!  this is something that I would like to do, but I would never have  had the confidence to do so in the past. Today I feel confident enough to make a Bible  reading presentation-  Thanks to studying english with the Open University!
