Spare a thought for the little frogs this weather! We were clearing up the other day after the gardeners had left (they did a good job!). After they had left, there were loads of little baby frogs jumping about all over the garden, they must have been sheltering beneath the shrubs and bushes that had completely overgrown our garden. I saw them hopping off at great speed beneath the borders of the garden, so I quickly poured cold water into the corners of the garden, also beneath the trees to keep everything moist. I may be able to make a makeshift pond on a dustbin lid at the corner of the garden beneath the trees in the shade. I want to encourage the wildlife back again. We had to cut the garden eventually, because the neighbours were all against me having a wild garden near their side, also my husband had just had an operation. But I did not realise that we had so many little frogs living underneath the bushes! How amazing! I do hope they will come back again.
