At the moment I am reading a book of short stories in french, by leading french writers of the twentieth century. This book has a parallel text, so the page on the left is in the french language, and the accompanying page on the right is in the english language. I am finding this book very easy to read, because if I come across an unfamiliar word, all I have to do is look for the equivalent word in the english text, on the right hand side page. This way I do not even have to use a dictionary!
