Interesting one Stacie.  I found I accepted my illness as the 'status quo' and as having good days and bad days. The worst things I had was an 80 year old helping me down the stairs on the ferry and when a shop assistant rushed out and offered to get me an ambulance.  The best was the superb behaviour and attitude of the family it helped that they were both sympathetic and pragmatic.
