    • If you're experiencing any unexplained issues using the app, go through the following steps and check if they resolve your problem.

      1. Refresh the page. Tap the screen and pull or drag the screen down.
      2. Quit and reopen the app. This may vary by device. You can do this in one of the following ways:
        • Scroll through your open apps on your device and close the app.
        • Go into your device settings, find the app and force it to close.
      3. Sign out and sign in again. Select your profile picture or Default profile iconon ‘My modules’ page and ‘Log out’. Then select your account and sign in using your Open University username and password again.
      4. Update the app. Go to the Apple or Google Play app stores and check if an updated version is available.
      5. Delete your downloaded module materials. Select ‘Downloads’ on the Planner and use the 'Delete all' button. You can view all materials online at any time and download them again if required.
      6. Delete all app data. This may vary by device. You can do this using one of the following options:
        • Within the app – Select ‘…’ and go to ‘App settings’. Then, select 'Space usage' and use the delete icon.
        • From device settings for Android – Go to your device’s settings area, find the OU Study app and delete the cache and data.
      7. Check the Frequently asked questions and known issues list. Try the suggested workaround for your issue until it is fixed.
      8. Check the OU Study app support site forum. Check if other users have encountered the same issue.
      9. Delete and reinstall the app. Delete the app in the same way as you would other apps on your device. Then, go to the Apple or Google Play app stores and install the OU Study app again. You can view all materials online and track your progress, but you need to download materials again to use them when you’re offline.
