good day school yesterday...not sure how much i learnt but got to know my fellow tutorial group a bit better...but have to say did take one gem from the day for exam technique. hopefully that will help me get to a pass level!!!

into the last block and just 2 more units 1 essay and 1 exam...it feels like its been a long module...some good, some not so!!!

Got ahead of myself and have spent most of Easter writing TMA5...only one more to go and an exam (hopefully I'll pass) and then half way to a history degree!!!

Number 4 done, that wasn't too bad to be honest...and completed before time. I thought I would need an extension for this TMA because of work, but no...
anyhow no worries, 2 more TMAs left and an exam then half way to my degree... wow hoe !!!!

Started TMA4 (of 6) so once this is out of the way, well on the way to finishing this A200 module. I just wish I had more time to read around the subjects I'm studying, then I'm sure I would enjoy this course much more...however work is getting in the way! So going to have to try and finish the TMA this weekend as away all next week with work (again!)

Back from skiing...and TMA3 back, half way now (plus exam!!).
think I prefer skiing to A200! mind you that isn't a surprise.

last TMA went in a couple of weeks ago, waiting for result...but not to bothered as away skiing! loads of snow today, I've never skied in snow like it...

I haven't blogged for such a long time, i think it is because I'm struggling to engage with this module (A200). Next TMA due in a couple of weeks and I have to say it is not fun...anyhow I won't give in but will downgrade my ideas on the grade I wanted to obtain. Just need to pass it really...

I seem to have stopped blogging recently. Must try and keep it up as useful to look back on my thoughts.
Anyhow onto block 3 and the English civil war, this part of the course is the one i was looking forward to most.

I've had my first tutorial this weekend. It sort of lacked a bit of structure to be honest, which is a little worrying. I may swap because there is another course running simultaneously, but feel a bit rude if I do that. So I'll maybe give it one more session as its theme should be the first TMA...

First Tutorial date set for the 6th October, hopefully I'llget my mind into gear by then. Still lacking the motivation with this A200 module...plus I notice the TMAs have to be in by the Thursday of each allotted week they are due. So a day less than normal.

I received my exam result today, just scrape a pass at 44%. I have to say I'm really disappointed as I averaged 76% in the TMA section. In fact I feel a little insulted when it stated 'inadequate' in 3 sections of Qn1... There appears to be a massive discrepancy between my course work and exam. Yet I didn't feel the exam questions were hard and thought I answered them quite well.
I feel something isn't quite right as the moved me up a level too...happy about that BUT not at all happy with exam result!

Signed up for the next module, A200, although not looking forward to it as much as the last course A219 but it is compulsory for my History degree so need to get it out of the way. I'm sure I will get into it when it gets going in September, but before then looking forward to having a few months off.

Exam on Tuesday. Revision going okay-ish (i think) off to Urchfont Manor for a revision weekend, Been told it is very useful. Hopefully it will help me get the grade I want. Time will tell...
