Thoughts and prayers are with Professor Jason Arday (who I don't know personally) and his family during what must be a very testing time, amidst the ongoing scandal (and smear campaign) which has been doing the rounds on social. The circumstantial accusations which bring into question Arday's academic integrity are concerning to us all as scholars, but this issue should have been handled using the appropriate mechanisms. I don't understand why Arday's wellbeing is being speculated about on X.com publicly by an admittedly small cohort of the Academic community? The blatant racism needs to stop.
