Now written up in much more detail, and with much diving down internet rabbit-holes.
I'll send it to my tutor, wtih a note that on reflection, I'm not sure how I feel about two of my main references being articles on the OU website. It seems like making the most of someone else having done the work for me.
Also, "references" - I gave up. No idea which things I should cite, and which not, never mind how.
Several "to do" bits from that, linked as "further reading" in each case, and one of them requiring a physical trip to a specialist London library.
