This is my first time studying with the Open University and my first ever degree. It has been around 12 years since I was in full time education so I was feeling pretty apprehensive until I received all of the information through for module one (MU123) of my maths and statistics degree.
I've comfortably started making my way through the first unit and am well ahead of schedule already. It is starting to look like a can dedicate around 15 hours per week to studying which feels more than adequate at this stage.
I'm even starting to consider the possibility of taking on another module this year which would leave me on track to finish the degree in 6 years.
Very early stages but I'm feeling more confident at this stage than I expected to.
