Housework day...

Visible to anyone in the world

Well, after a week of being busy at work, meeting up with friends and drinking copious amounts of wine it's finally Sunday. Housework day. I've done the kitchen and am taking a quick lunch break before I spend the afternoon doing the rest of the house and trying to pack my clothes. With only one week tomorrow before I head down to the airport I can't work out if i'm being organised or disorganised. Nor can I tell what i'm going to take with me, despite my usual list writing plan.

On the plus side it's one of my favourite activities, and although it means that's it until I go I still have the working days countdown each day, as well as the working hours, minutes and even seconds that I tend to count down as it gets closer. I've already started my studies despite the course not being officially open yet- but it means i'll not have to stress about catching up when i'm back.

In other news I haven't managed to get to the gym as much as I wanted this week due to pain in both my legs, but hopefully next week I can hit it harder than normal, and maybe do longer runs. Still, maybe in my last attempt to shed a bit of the belly fat by detoxing alcohol and having a diet mostly consisting of salads (I do love a good salad!) I might get a bit leaner.

Well, as much as i'd love to catch up on my week i really do need to get the flat clean before I go away- we all know Mike's not going to do it (well you don't know that yet but I do)…. on the plus side he finally did the washing up this morning without me asking. We have progress!!

Another day, another dollar!

Visible to anyone in the world

Oh my goodness I am so hungry right now it's unbelieveable! I forgot to make my lunch last night so it looks like i'll have to go get some pre-packed rubbish from Sainsburys. Either that or I take a trek down to go get some yummy raw vegan goodness from Goji.

I'll need to take some time to decide that as it doesn't really match in with my plans to go shopping at lunch- different directions and all that!

Well, at least I have a fairly busy day ahead of me, and I can't wait to get my fitness on with my personal trainer tonight. Only two weeks before I go away so it's time to get physical. I've actually been training for 8 weeks now, and have continually progressed- but I just know i'm aiming for a minute plank tonight- not fun! Combined with my 10 minute runs on the in between days i'm beginning to feel much better about myself, and never thought i'd actually look forward to exercise!

I'm also going to need to hit the books tonight to make sure i've got a head start on the studies, don't want to be left behind after my 2 week trip. I've also just remembered my other module website should be open today so i'm off to take a peek....whoop!!
