The Lone Cabin

So much hinges

On a lone cabin

Still as startled breath  

Resting, nesting  

 On a  mirrored fjord  

Where mountains rise  

Cutting sharp beneath 

The northern skies

Like soft whispers shifting

In time’s slow turning drift.
