To Vote or Not to Vote

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Aideen Devine, Monday, 30 Oct 2023, 13:39

The votes are in and counted and what changes can we look forward to, probably none. With Sinn Fein taking the most seats here, the Unionists will now refuse to go back into Stormont. Of course Sinn Fein are now all about getting back to work but were happy to sit at home for three+ years after they walked out over the RHI scandal. Do they really think Unionism will accommodate them now? The thing is no one even noticed when they were all off and things just rattled along as always. Party politics has really outlived its usefulness, we don’t just need to get rid of the politicians, we need a whole new system.

The press are making a big deal out of Sinn Fein winning most seats but the reality is they haven’t won any more than they did last time around, the only difference this time is that the TUV took a couple off the DUP. The SDLP lost out most and I’m happy to report that one of their losers was Nichola Mallon. Truly well-deserved after her actions of the last two years and there will be many who will not be sorry to see her go. She was the most outspoken supporter of lockdowns, vax passes and compulsory vaccines, a real fascist at heart. I’m only disappointed Colm Eastwood isn’t joining her because he was as bad.

There were over 11,000 spoiled votes and with a turnout of 63% there were still a lot of people, more than a third actually, who didn’t vote. I will be joining their ranks next time around if the choices remain the same.

I was always a strong advocate of voting but have lost all faith in the system, it doesn’t matter who you vote for, the government, or rather ‘shadow government’, always gets in. It has also been made compulsory to register to vote, this is probably so that your data can be sold on and they can keep tabs on you, so I won’t even bother to register again either.

The malaise is worse in England with only 35% turnout and as low as 13% in some areas. I don’t know how anyone can claim to speak for us on those figures. Boris Johnston could turn those Conservative losses into a big win if he finally got the UK out of the EU, dumped the protocol, stopped bowing to the woke crowd, grew up and actually showed something like leadership.

I was never a fan of Margaret Thatcher but I have to say, she wouldn’t have put up with an ounce of this garbage for five minutes, and I am sick of government policy being decided by media hysteria. Of course, the next outbreak has started already, abortion this time and, off they go, hysterically ramping up the screaming woke mob again. Gawd, give me strength!

Death and the Apocalypse?

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Aideen Devine, Monday, 10 Apr 2023, 19:10

My mother passed away just over two weeks ago, thanks in no small part to Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and the National Death…sorry ‘Health’ Service. I’m the first to admit she had an underlying condition, Type 2 diabetes but she was far from the grave, as the consultant said, when she was first admitted and, yet, that is exactly where she is now.

When admitted, after blacking out at home and collapsing, she was diagnosed with pericarditis, (there’s a lot of it and myocarditis going around, and organ failure) then they found blood clots in her lungs. So, in trying to manage the balance of fluids in and fluids out, she was in for several weeks as mentioned in the previous post.

She was so depressed they decided to send her home and treat her in the community. She had also suffered a mini stroke which initially affected her speech, but rectified itself within a few days but her short term memory was slightly affected. She was due to go home the Monday before Christmas. On the Saturday night, the Ward Manager decided she would move her to another Ward, (her fifth or sixth move, I’m not sure, I lost count) against the orders of the consultant that she wasn’t to be moved. She had been in a 4 bed ward and was moved to a single room in the new wing of the hospital, which has been built in preparation for the switch to private care, although no one will admit it publicly yet. She woke about six o’clock in the morning needing to use the bathroom. What happened next, remains unclear, no one knows if she called for assistance or tried to go herself but, if she did, no one came as they were all on their tea-break. She was found lying on the floor afterwards with a broken hip and, from there, went downhill rapidly. I cannot even begin to describe how completely sickened I was on getting that news on the Sunday morning, or how angry. She was in so much pain, they couldn’t leave her so they did a hip replacement on Christmas Eve.

Her mental state before the fall, and afterwards, was masked by the morphine she was on for the pain but she didn’t improve when they took her off it. I wonder now if she suffered another or several small strokes, or maybe it was the 15 different medications that were being pumped into her per day on an empty stomach. With the rules around visits, I didn’t see her for the first 7 weeks of her stay, but was able to see her when she was in Ward 44, and Ward 22, after the fall, but did not see her after the operation until she got home. The decline was shocking. She finally got home on 6 January, a pale shadow of the woman she had been a mere 13 weeks previously – physically unable to walk or stand, and at least 2 stone lighter. Mentally, it was as if the lights had gone out, her emotional connections were broken. She passed away peacefully on 17 January, after slipping into unconsciousness the day before - a small consolation after three months of hell.

There was a surge in deaths in our town after Christmas from strokes, heart attacks and sudden onset organ failure. But because most of them were elderly, or over 60, no one is going to even bother to investigate. Maybe some of them would have happened anyway, but even the local priest spoke out about the unprecedented numbers and is strongly anti-CV jabs, even if his church isn’t. But as I keep pointing out, these jabs are not vaccines, they are m-RNA gene therapy, and no one is even bothering to ask where they are getting the RNA from. Is it from animals, aborted foetuses or is it synthetic? No one can think straight with all the hysteria and the media just keep pumping out the fear and propaganda.

It has been a strange two years and feels even more surreal now, the world before wasn’t perfect but God, I miss it. The world now is in an absolute mess, engineered, of course, by the powers behind the political puppets so that they can implement the Great Reset. I’m sure all the anti-Trumpers are delighted with Joe, what a great president, driving the US into the worst economic and social mess in history, and now trying to start a war with Russia – good luck with that one!

And over here we have ‘partygate’. The absurdity of it all, they partied, unafraid and uncaring, while you masked, distanced and volunteered yourself as a guinea pig for the pharmaceutical industry. Granny was left to die alone as mass hysteria and lunacy swept over the population. Common sense forgotten in the midst of it all and the most basic questions regarding facts and scientific evidence, not even asked, as humanity lost their minds and their humanity.

My family like many others have been fractured by this, you would have thought the loss of my mother would have brought them together and started a healing process but unfortunately not. Those in thrall to the medical profession refuse to even discuss the possibility that they were duped, it’s hard to reason with those who are screaming hysterically, or maybe they are now so afraid of what may be ahead for them, as they are all jabbed, that they dare not believe they have been used, or that their own government could set them up like this.

My mother’s cousin is still in hospital and suffering from what can only be described as derangement. Yet, the doctors can find nothing physically wrong with her. If they performed a D-dimer test they might find an answer.

They are pushing hard now to get rid of Boris, maybe he isn’t fascist enough for the puppet masters or maybe he has served his usefulness and they don’t need him for the next stage of the plan, it all feels a bit engineered doesn't it. The pattern is becoming more obvious, create a crisis, get the media to whip it up to hysteria levels and then magically present the solution.

The FOI request made by GB News reveals that 17,500 people died with ‘Covid’ alone. Which is about 3k less than a normal flu year and the average age was 82.5 years, one year above the national average, and let’s not even get started on the figures for the monumental waste of our money on PPE or Nightingale Hospitals.

With truckers across the world joining those in Canada in staging protests, it feels like it is the beginning of the end of the insanity, although lunatics like Trudeau and Ardern are holding fast and threatening to be even more fascist. Will humanity prevail? I’m not sure because it feels as if something profound has been lost and, as my mother was hastened to her death, so I feel that humanity has been hastened to their demise.

Back in the 1960’s, John Calhoun conducted experiments with mice by building them a Utopian society where all their needs were met. Initially, there was an explosion in the population, but the population never reached its potential maximum and eventually tapered off and died. He tried the experiment with many other animals and the outcome was always the same and followed the same pattern; the societies grew and then collapsed. Looking at where we are now, between the ‘woke’ but not awake hysteria, and the destruction wrought by covid, I predict that within thirty years we, in the west, will be living like Romanians were in the 1950’s. While Calhoun’s experiments are taken as a possible demonstration of what happens with over-population, I took from it that it was more a warning about the dangers of a universal income and what would happen in a society when all the needs are met without any effort. We have the ‘snowflake/woke’ generation at present, who have never known want or poverty, and the same patterns seem to be evolving. I have included a link to interviews with Dr Calhoun and would encourage you to learn more about his experiments. Then look around you at our present society and see if you can draw parallels.

But whatever the future holds for us, the road ahead is not going to be smooth, all I can advise is to sharpen up your survival skills and stock your cupboards. I think the worst is yet to come especially if the lunatics are intent on war with Russia.

But in the midst of all the gloom, there is one bit of good news, Mark Zuckerberg lost millions this week when Facebook/Metaverse stock took a big hit. Apparently, Facebook has peaked and is hemorrhaging users/viewers like the mainstream media. It seems life through a screen has lost its attraction and when you censor and shut down your own customers/products, what do you expect?  Like David Aames, it seems people want to live a real life. Here’s to hoping they will be able or allowed to.

I Think, Therefore I Can (See)

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Aideen Devine, Thursday, 1 Sept 2022, 12:47

I got up this morning to the first frost of the winter. Not even Halloween and frost already. It has been reported that Arctic sea ice is at high levels this year and this is usually a sign of a cold winter to come. Well, it's still only autumn but winter has started and, I think, there is snow forecast for the high ground in Scotland too, this weekend.

I came across an article recently which said that Bill Gates and friends are lining up to start mining minerals in Greenland. Apparently, Greenland has loads of minerals under the ice which are needed for technology and that is why they keep trying to convince us that the ice is melting. If you believe the ice is gone, you won't mind so much, or maybe won't even be aware that they will be there digging it up. After all, how many of us will be up around Greenland to see what is really going on?

On a related topic, we have been told for many years now that there is an island of plastic the size of Texas in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I recently tried to find a picture of this and couldn't get one. I got drawings and photos of small areas of plastic waste but no image of this supposedly large island of plastic. Surely, if it is there, it has been photographed from satellites or drones? Does anyone have a picture of this? Or is this another case of, out of sight, so lie all you want about it?

Insulate Britain do have a point regarding better insulation for our homes but their tactics only serve to annoy people and, to be honest, I've seen a couple of interviews with their spokespersons and, quite frankly, they are nuts!

I also recently listened to a talk by, I think, Alan Watts, or it might have been Max Igan, but I'm not entirely sure, I'll have to try and find it again. He, whoever he was, was saying that the world is insane, but because we are born into the insanity, we think it is normal. And although the insanity is right there for us all to see,(especially at the moment), we are blind to it because we live in it, and our parents basically programmed us to go along with it all, just like their parents did to them, and so the perpetual cycle of insanity continues ad infinitum.

Just sit and think about what is going on in the world at the moment, what sane adult would walk around with a mask on rather than freely breathe the air, or let a pharmaceutical company inject you with an unknown experimental substance with no knowledge of what it is or the possible side, or long term, effects? And why are we taking 'health' advice from the likes of Boris Johnson, a man so reprehensibly corrupt and irresponsible, he can't even manage to put on a condom. Or Nicola Sturgeon, a woman so anally retentive it would take a crow bar to open up her sphincter, and for whom the word 'fun' is a concept completely beyond her comprehension.

Or Bill Gates? Take some time and go and watch some interviews with this man, talking about 'sticking needles into children' and the most recent one about Epstein. This man is a psychopath, yet, he is allowed to dictate health policy to the entire fecking world! And we are listening to these people and letting them tell us what to do! I watched a clip last night of a man being arrested for sunbathing on a beach in Australia, SUNBATHING ON A BEACH!!! Can you really not see the insanity of all this? Just look at some of the 'rules' that were imposed by the petty dictators in the last year, - here in N Ireland they banned people from graveyards (we couldn’t have the dead spreading covid!) - Dan Andrews told people in Australia they had to keep their mask on when eating and drinking. Really, where is the fecking logic in any of this? It's beyond insane!

But it isn't just today, look back at the wars and misery humanity has engineered and inflicted on one another. How could any sane person send someone's child out to murder others, so they can claim a piece of land, or impose an ideology? Or what about a world that allows a child to starve when others are allowed to hoard billions, which they could not spend in ten lifetimes, never mind one; and whose egos are so large, they can spend millions on a day trip to space, but won't pay one of their own employees more than the bare minimum wage. It is insane and we allow this insanity to go on around us every day!

I used to think I was crazy because I could never fit into the world in the way others wanted me to. I remember on many occasions being told to 'wise up', often just for questioning and challenging the status quo, or asking why. An insult that was also levelled at me at the start of this nonsense, because I challenged the lies and refused to comply with the nonsense. But, I was, and still am, prepared to stand and fight my corner for freedom and truth, regardless of what the frightened sheep bleat.

I don't fit in and now I see that I never will, at least as long as it keeps going as it is, and thank God for that! I realise now that I have been calling out the insanity for most of my life whether it was the dogma of Catholicism, the egotism of teachers, or the idiocy of rules and people in authority who have disappeared up their own rectum. If you think this world is sane, then I am more than happy if you think I am not.  We are living in a world of lies and half-truths but, mostly, complete and utter nonsense, and I, for one, will not go along with it. Not that I ever did, and on those rare occasions when I tried, I always felt that I had let myself down.

We are being led by lunatics and egotistical morons, who are leading us on a merry dance through bedlam. Why would anyone with a modicum of intelligence, or the capacity to think critically, take someone like Boris Johnson or Nicola Sturgeon seriously, they are not just ridiculous but stupid, just plain old dumb and dumber. Yet doctors and medical professionals, educated people, around the world are going along with their insanity.

I watched Noam Chomsky recently talk about what a real education is, he said a real education is not about the learning of facts, it is about learning 'how to think'. I see now that many of our 'health' professionals and those in positions of authority are just people with good memories, who can remember what they have been told, but lack the capacity to think for themselves, or apply critical thinking and logic, which makes them vulnerable not just to manipulation, but also to corruption.

Buddhism says that life is suffering and that is true, up to a point, anyone born to live will eventually suffer the pain of illness and death. However, life is really not that hard, or least it does not have to be. I’ve noticed that when things are right, life flows, it is easy, it is not hard or complicated at all. It is us, we make it difficult, we imprison ourselves in rules that someone else made and allow ourselves to be made miserable by them. It is how our society is structured that makes it difficult, as the Aboriginal man said, before the white man, the land was free, the food was free and the doctor was free. If only! Nothing is free now, you’re not even ‘free’ to breathe the air, and every day it tears away another little piece of your soul.

Life does not have to be this difficult but we have allowed it to become so. We have let the lunatics take over the asylum and run the show and as long as we keep obeying their instructions, then it will continue and will become more and more difficult. Do you really want to stay in the institution for the rest of what remains of your life, or do you want out, the choice is yours, it is time to wise up.

Lies, Damned Lies and Fake News

Visible to anyone in the world

So, 37/38 weeks on from 3 weeks to ‘Save the NHS’, we’re still being held to ransom in a big open prison. Do you still believe this is about a virus, a virus so deadly, 99.97% of us will recover from it and even if we get it, will have mild or no symptoms, and even among 80 year olds, has a recovery rate of 80%; a virus that still hasn’t been isolated, yet, they can make a vaccine for it? A miracle virus that went from Wuhan to the rest of the world, bypassing the rest of China. Can you see now looking at those videos and news reports from China back in March, of people collapsing and dying in the streets, people in hazmat suits walking around and fumigating the place? All fake, fake news, as real as a White Helmet rescue in Syria.

They are playing us, on a monumental scale, they think we are fools and idiots and are laughing at how easily we have been lied to and manipulated. They’ve being doing it for decades and getting away with it too. Do you really believe Bill Gates, Boris Johnston and Matt Hancock give a damn about your health? Bill Gates is getting a 20% return on vaccines, he says it’s the best investment he’s ever made and has doubled his wealth in 10 years. These bankers and globalists know that the majority of people are decent and law abiding, otherwise society would not be able to function, and will do what they can to take care of their families, friends and neighbours. I mean who would deliberately want to kill their granny.

Your trust, your sense of decency and your inherent desire to do the right thing is being exploited and taken advantage of, and they are sitting back having a laugh and making a fortune while our lives have been taken over and we have been locked down in this big open prison.  And Matt Hancock's 'performance' on GMB yesterday confirms this, pretending to be crying, when he is in fact crying with laughter at how they have pulled this off and, no doubt too, at the big pay day for him and the rest of them. What a vile human being! There’s a link down below, I would urge you to view it. See also the photos of yesterday’s fake patients getting their jab. Check the dates on the pictures.

What sickens me most about this is that ordinary decent people are being deliberately terrorised and exploited by those with no moral standards of any kind, and who would sell their granny for profit, in a heartbeat. It’s not nice to be taken for a fool, to be lied to, to be exploited, especially when you are trying to do the right thing.

Globalist billionaires and trillionaires, like Rothschild, Soros and Gates have more money than they could spend in 10 life times, but it still isn’t enough for them, they want more, they want everything you have and to reduce your life to that of a serf. Too much is never enough for them, a mind-set beyond most of our understanding.

As it says on the World Economic Forum website on the Great Reset, ‘you will own nothing and you will be happy’.  I wonder how they are going to take away what we own, will property and material goods be outlawed and rationed. Who thinks up this stuff? And who are they to decide what will or will not make you happy, or what you can or cannot own?

As humans, what makes us happy is connection with others, relationships, friendships, love. There are numerous studies on the need in humans for those connections. I remember as part of a psychology course, learning about how children in the Romanian orphanages were literally dying from the want of touch. After the fall of Ceausescu, and the world became aware of the awful conditions and deprivation in the orphanages, money and help poured in but children were still dying at the same rate they had being dying at before. Then they discovered that while they may be getting fed and clothed better, they still were not having any physical contact, no one giving them a comforting hug and they were dying from the want of it.  There is also Bowlby’s famous experiment with Rhesus monkeys, which found that the monkeys deprived of a comforting touch in their early development became psychotic.

When I think about that coldness and lack of empathy as demonstrated by the psychotic, I can’t help but draw parallels between those public school boys who are sent off at a young age to boarding school and who proliferate the world of business and politics, and turn out like Hancock, Johnson and Gates.

Another Dose of the Clap

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Aideen Devine, Sunday, 11 Oct 2020, 09:32

Why, thank you, thank you for that wonderful round of applause for all us hard-working NHS workers, you’re much too kind, no really you are, we don’t really deserve it, after all, we’re just doing our job, but thank you, again!

3 weeks now and doesn’t it just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and evoke that old Dunkirk spirit, yes because we are a nation, we’re all pulling together to ‘Save the NHS’ and ‘Save Lives’. Because we’re all in this together and, ‘We have to do it, to get through it!’

And all the children with their pretty rainbow pictures up in windows because you can’t leave the children out, you gotta get them programmed early too, sorry, I mean you’ve got to include them too. Yes we must always be inclusive, include them while they’re young! Altogether now - ‘Children! Children! Future! Future! Children are the future - KIDS!’

And who’s leading the clap this week but none other than Boris Johnson’s pregnant girlfriend Carrie Symonds – aawww! Because you just know she’ll be delivering her baby in an NHS hospital and, by the way, does anyone know what hospital Boris is being treated in, could it possibly be a private one? But still wasn’t it good of her…aawww!.

There are just so many who care, I mean, we already had Prince Charles, who never put foot in an NHS hospital for anything other than to pull the curtain back on a plaque with his name on it. And the Beckham’s too, who live in the US and again, haven’t seen the inside of an NHS hospital for decades.  After all, the NHS isn’t for the likes of them, oh no, it’s just for us plebs but isn’t it great to see they are so concerned about us and caring or could it be that maybe they are just concerned about something else? Like maybe, if they don’t keep everyone indoors the NHS will be overwhelmed and people will see how much it has been starved of funding for the last 20 years. I mean when I drive in every morning, the signs from the recent strikes are still hanging outside ‘Safe Staffing, Save Lives’. Short memories, eh? So, maybe their motivation is not really to save lives but to save their own jobs, their own necks and their own privileged lifestyles? After all, you don’t want the plebs rising up in a revolution and demanding fair treatment or decent services for their taxes so let’s keep trotting out the feel good propaganda and shovelling the shit down the throats of the little people.

So, well done, everyone, it’s so good to see everyone turning out to support the NHS, but wasn’t there just a small part of you that felt like one of those sea lions, you used to see on variety shows years ago, who sat up on their little plinths and clapped to order?

The Irony of it All

Rather ironic that it would be a Conservative Prime Minister who would turn the UK into a totalitarian, socialist state. I'm still in shock!!!

The Finger of Blame

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Aideen Devine, Monday, 23 Mar 2020, 19:03

I was listening to a report on Sky News Australia and one of the people on it was blaming China and saying that China 'wilfully inflicted Coronavirus on the world' and should be held to account. Of course, down in the comments, it was the usual brainless trolls spouting anti-Chinese/communist propaganda and demanding boycotts and all sorts and talking about manufacturing and why everything is made in China. So, I couldn't resist and fired off this response.

You're not manufacturing because you are not in charge, your democracy is an illusion, the world is run by corporations and banks and compliant/puppet politicians and propaganda news channels. The west has been happy to look away for years as the working classes got shafted and we all knew that there was a price for cheap goods and that was the cheap labour on offer in places like China. So don't blame China, blame yourselves for your own lazy attitude, for ignoring the political landscape because you were too lazy to think for yourself and because 'politics is boring' and you preferred to shop online at Amazon. And if you still believe in 'climate change' then you are exactly the kind of person I am talking about and now that you are faced with the prospect of your own mortality, you're running shit scared and blaming everybody else and ignoring your part in 'creating this world'.

So, before we rush to judgement on anyone, let's take a minute and breathe, and let's try and keep an open mind at least until we have as many facts as we can gather. Maybe this did start in China but just maybe, someone started it in China, and at this point, we don't know the absolute origin of it other than what the news media is telling us, and we all know how reliable they are. There are a few more questions we need to ask before the self-righteous grandstanding and finger pointing begins. For example, is it a coincidence that outside of China, Iran is the country that is suffering most?  And why is the death rate in these countries so much higher than somewhere like Germany where the death rate is 0.2%. Is it possible that there is a different strain of virus in China and Iran?  No one has died in Russia, what could Russian Intelligence tell us? They were quick to close the border with China, what did they know that we didn't? And why was Europe so slow to close it's borders? Donald Trump was slated by the EU for banning flights, yet Boris Johnson was slated for not being more extreme in his response.

We could also ask ourselves, what has been going on in the world in recent years while we have all been distracted with 'climate change'?  There is an ongoing scrap in the Middle East and it has been going on for some time, and it wasn't that long ago, the US was trying to start a war with Iran. As a matter of fact, the US has been trying to go to war with Iran for years.

And, has anything else interesting happened recently? Well, Netanyahu basically carried out a coup in his own country, just as he was about to be indicted for bribery, fraud and corruption, and he had just lost the election too, along comes coronavirus to save the day!! He suspended Parliament and shut down the Courts and is carrying on, business as usual!

The municipal elections were also held in France last weekend, has there been a result yet?  France just enacted emergency legislation that states you must phone for permission to leave your house. Will that stop the Gilet Jaunes from protesting? After all, they were out in their thousands the weekend before in Paris, still protesting Macron, week 70. You have got to admire their courage and tenacity, maybe we could learn something from them!

In Ireland too, they recently had an election and Sinn Fein, who are a little bit socialist, got the most first preference votes but now because of the coronavirus, everything has shut down and Leo is still in charge, ohh, what a lot of coincidences!!

At this point, we know nothing and in all likelihood, we will never know the full/true story of its origins but as I remarked in an earlier post, I am reading the Life and Death of Dr David Kelly and if we sit here and think that our governments' hands are clean in the area of biological weaponry, then we are seriously deluded. But keep your eyes on Iran, and your ears and minds open - believe nothing of what they tell you and only half of what you see...

Good News/ Bad News

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Aideen Devine, Thursday, 1 Sept 2022, 12:51

It's been a good news/bad news sort of a week. Good news, in that Boris won the election with a sizeable majority so now we can finally get on with Brexit and leaving the EU. I never thought I would be glad to see a Tory Government elected but like many working class, Boris was the only choice to finally settle the debate and I would like to say a huge thank you to the people of England who turned out to vote and make it happen. I feel, for the first time in a very long time, hopeful and optimistic about the future of the country and I think the UK will thrive from here on and that we have a lot to look forward to.

The sheep here turned out to vote for the tribes, as usual. However, there were a few upsets. Sinn Fein lost Foyle to the SDLP and the DUP's, Nigel Dodd’s lost his seat too.  Unfortunately, it was to Sinn Fein so that was a bit of a double-edged sword!

With the EU out of the way, the buck will now stop in Westminster (at least, it will once we are out) and our politicians will now (hopefully!) be more accountable for their policies and actions.  At least, it will be easier to hold them to account.

Other good news on the election front, was the non-election of Jo Swinson who got a lesson in reality - self-righteous pontificating isn't really much of a policy and a bit of advice for Jo, just because The Guardian say it, doesn't make it true. Now, Jo will have to get a real job and work for a living. Welcome to the real world!

Labour too, got a hard lesson in reality. They deserted the working-classes and now the working-classes have deserted them, at least, temporarily. Although, I was sorry to see Dennis Skinner lose his seat.

Labour hasn't been a working-class party for years, like the politics of Northern Ireland, their view of the world is out of date and so are most of their policies. What we have also seen, is that reality trumps ideology and we are now moving towards a post-ideological world.  The extremes of right and left ideology no longer work when faced with the practical reality of life. Labour needs to restructure and start living in the real world and not in some 'socialist' Utopian ideal that exists only in the minds of those who have only ever lived comfortable, middle-class lives. Especially, when in recent years, they pontificate and insult their voting heartlands with their self-righteous grand-standing and try to ignore the voice of that majority.

On the bad news front, we lost Dr David Bellamy, the naturalist and critic of the 'climate change' fraud. His opposition to that fraud saw him side-lined by the media and many of the environmental groups he was involved with. I hope the day is coming soon when the lies of the mainstream media are finally exposed on this and with the EU out of the way, that will, I hope, be the end to their funding of the propaganda and distortions of the truth.

And if anyone is still in doubt about 'climate change', answer this one simple question (even Jo Swinson could work this one out!)

Who is more likely to tell you the truth about the effects of Co2 on the climate of this planet?

A - An American politician, Al Gore?

B - An unqualified and uneducated, 16 year old with a learning disability, Greta Thunberg?

C - A naturalist and environmentalist with a Phd in Botany and over 40 years of campaigning on the environment, Dr David Bellamy?

On the news/news front, since you cannot trust the BBC or any of the mainstream services, I would recommend Sky News Australia.  A completely different beast from Sky News UK which, I would never allow in the door but a great channel with some great commentators. You can find it on Youtube.

So, roll on 2020, and the US election.  This will probably return a massive vote for Trump since the US is also enduring the same self-righteous grandstanding that we have endured from the Neo-Liberal Fascist's in our midst but from the Democratic Party in their propaganda war of lies as they try to cover up Biden's dirty deals in Ukraine.  Watch this space...

Boris Bungles Again!

Visible to anyone in the world

So, Boris (allegedly) squeezed the thigh of journalist Charlotte Edwardes 20 years ago. I mean this kind of sexual harassment is just not on and I for one am appalled.  Thank God, we have moved on as a society and the casual sexual harassment that went on in the past is rapidly being exposed for the horror that it was for all victims of thigh-squeezing.

And I must confess to a certain 'mea-culpa' too.  I remember now the almost weekly sexual harassment of Terry Wogan on his BBC talk show, Wogan. Week after week, woman after woman used to come in and squeeze his leg, I actually think the odd man may have done it too!  And to my eternal shame, I remember, I used to laugh along, I thought it was a joke too! My God, how could I have been so naive??

Little did I realise how distressing all this must have been for Terry, and although he seemed to take it as a joke and laugh along too, maybe underneath it all he was in torment. Did he go back to his dressing room after each assault and cry at the impossible position he had been put in, the humiliation of having to endure being sexually assaulted right on screen every week for the whole country to see?  Did his bosses make him play along, was there pressure from the top to just sit there and take it??!  I think we need to be told, nay, DEMAND to be told!

What kind of culture existed in the BBC at the time, when an innocent man could have been subjected to such appalling behaviour for the entertainment of millions and with no regard for his 'personal space'.  The term 'Housewife's Favourite' now takes on a much more insidious tone!  Was Terry Wogan used by the BBC to provide sexual gratification for frustrated housewives and women everywhere? Was there a darker side to the easy banter and playful innuendoes he used to so casually drop into his broadcasts? Maybe they were secretly a cry for help from a man without friends, a 'victim' of his own 'success', whether he wanted it or not?

Terry Wogan is unfortunately, no longer with us, did the years of sexual harassment add to his stress and have a bearing on the cancer that killed him? Who knows?  But at the very least, to honour his memory, I think we need a public enquiry and those women should be publicly named and shamed for the blatant harassment of a kindly gentleman just trying to make a living!  The horror of it all!

The 'Empire' Strikes Back

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Aideen Devine, Sunday, 22 Sept 2019, 09:51

As we, very slowly and painfully, grind towards the 31st October and Brexit, the hysteria mounts as the Neo Liberal Fascists in their desperation to stop Boris and Brexit, throw democracy out the window, along with their toys, and like Violet Elizabeth will 'scweam and scweam, til they're sick', like the spoiled, overly entitled, over-indulged, self-righteous brats that they are.

It's hard to pick out the most sickening moment in the recent spectacles of the War on Brexit.  Was it Jeremy Corbyn selling out on every working class principle he claimed to have (not that Jeremy was ever working class) and treacherously defying the wishes of the majority of the population?   Not surprising, really, when he so publicly dismissed his own brothers life’s work with his fawning of Greda Thunberg and declaring a ‘climate emergency’. And I thought Tony Blair was going to go down in history as the biggest betrayer of the Labour movement.

Or was it Jo Swinson's cringe-inducing speech where she claimed the (Neo) Liberal Democrat (Fascists) would reverse Brexit without a vote at all, dependent of course, on the NLDF's becoming a majority government in the British Parliament?  Mind you, I don't think there's much to worry about there, a Lib Dem majority government?  Good luck with that one!

But more insidious was Guy Verhoftstadt’s speech at the NLDF’s conference where he said ‘The world order of tomorrow is not a world order based on nation states or countries- it's a world order that is based on Empires’.  This is what the ‘conspiracy theorists’ have been saying for years that behind the scenes in politics, the puppet masters of Bilderburg et al have been working towards a New World Order with national boundaries and national identities wiped out.

I know John Lennon sang about a world with no countries and no religion, a world of peace, ‘a brotherhood of man’ but I don’t think he envisaged it as a world of empires, ruled and controlled by an unelected and unaccountable elite.  But the most disturbing thing about this speech was the cheers of the NLDF’s in the audience, the brain-washed minions, ready to throw away democracy, and cultural and national identity so as to be seen as forward-thinking and ‘liberal’. Like turkeys cheering for Christmas…I wonder if they’ll be as enthusiastic if Brexit doesn’t happen and their children and grandchildren are conscripted, and marched off into the army of the EU Empire, to fight in a war with Russia or China?  Rather ironic too when one of the accusations levelled at Leavers, was their backward looking desire to turn Britain back to the days of ‘empire’.

As Mr Verhoftstadt brings the 'empire' into the public arena, it shows that they don't really care that we are aware of their agenda because they own the media and through it, opposition, and open and free debate is being closed down.  As they attempt to build their empire by creating a nationless, cultureless and genderless society and most probably vegan too, going by propaganda trends online, we must ask, what is the end game to all this?  And more importantly, who is the Emperor?

Will the new EU army be marched on to the streets of Paris and other European cities to put down the protests of groups like the Gilets Jaunes or anyone else who doesn't agree with their way of thinking or who doesn't vote the 'right' way?

I was living and working in Dublin when the Maastricht Treaty was being voted on by the Irish people, and they voted against it, and Sinn Fein were right up there, at that time, in their opposition to it (although they have since sold out too). And the Irish people were basically told that they were going to have another referendum and they would continue to do so until they voted for it, which they duly did in the next referendum.

We can all dream of a better world, a world of peace, of ‘a brotherhood of man’ but not when the aim is to control and manipulate the people of the world and to use them to create wealth for the few, to the cost of the many.

And I like the differences between us; I want the French to be French, the Chinese to be Chinese and the Germans to be German.  What is wrong with that?  There is nothing more disappointing than going to a foreign country and being surrounded by exactly the same shops and eating the same food that you have at home. I want that when I go to another country, that it is different, otherwise, what is the point of going? But then they don't want us going anywhere, do they?  Isn't that another of the great 'climate change' lies, to not fly, or drive, or eat meat, or use plastic, or yadda, yadda yaa...GIVE ME STRENGTH!!

Will we, won’t we, finally Brexit?  As we get closer to Halloween, expect the hysteria to be ramped up and the attacks on Boris and leave supporters to become more vocal and nastier. Who knows just what ‘dirty’ tricks they may be planning for us, if Britain spoils the EU dream of ‘empire’.  The countdown is on but I fear there may be some dark days ahead.

Neo Liberal Fascist Feminism

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Aideen Devine, Friday, 20 Oct 2023, 09:43

Here we go again! Another day, another incident and another opportunity for the Neo-liberal Fascists to display their 'liberal' principles in a virtue-signalling, social-media, feeding-frenzy of self-righteous indignation.  And who is the target this time? None other than Tory minister, Mark Field, suspended now from his job for 'assaulting' a 'climate change' protester.  Oh, the howls and screams of protest as they rabidly set out on another hysterical and media-fuelled witch hunt, to publicly disembowel the latest target for their ire. They won't be stopped until he has been hounded from his job, stripped of all human rights and banished to some dark corner of hell, to ponder the errors of his ways, dressed only in sackcloth and ashes and made to self-flagellate on a daily basis until he is allowed to return but only after making a humiliating public apology and being psychologically castrated!

I mean, the audacity of the man! To manhandle this weak and helpless woman, this victim of the patriarchy, a symbol for our times of all that is liberal, truly feminine, deep and meaningful, and not forgetting, all self-sacrificing, not just for the sake of women everywhere but for the entire eco-system of planet earth! What a gal!  Move over Greta! There's a new paragon of virtue in town!

And, would you believe it, before the screaming had died down, what should happen but none other than another rich, white, Tory male should find himself at the centre of another feminist storm when it was reported that his partner was heard to shout 'get off me' in the middle of a row, than the media feeding-frenzy found another target to aim their self-righteous indignation at! And who should it be but none other than the potential next Prime Minister himself, Mr Boris Johnson!   What a present to the Neo-liberals, two in one week! (I wonder, is there a sale on? I might be able to get my own patriarch that I can stomp all over with my self-righteous feminist principles!)

Then, there was a story on Donegalonline about a National School in Wicklow that is going 'gender neutral' allowing boys to wear skirts and girls to wear trousers (with parental approval). They are also providing 'gender-neutral' toilets.  The insanity spreads, like a cancer, as the Neo-liberal fascists inculcate their anti-Trump, anti-Brexit, pro climate change, all-knowing, all-inclusive, immigrant loving, self-righteous, virtue-signalling on the rest of us!

Let's not bother that 'gender neutral' clothing would be neither skirts nor trousers (so go figure that one out!)  and let's not bother with the realities of the psychology of a child's mind or the fact that most children have no idea what 'gender' even means, or that they operate at a level below full consciousness.  No, let’s keep indulging the stupidity, let’s not bother to challenge it publicly, lest we be seen and neanderthals, nazis, racists and homophobes.  Let's just keep our mouths shut and let the tyrannical 'liberal' emperors stomp over everything in their fine new clothes!

Weddings, winners, w*nkers & war

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Aideen Devine, Saturday, 15 June 2019, 09:17

Number 3 son got married a couple of weeks ago and a great time was had by all!  It wasn't a traditional church wedding as neither bride nor groom are religious but it was held in the historic and very picturesque, Guild Hall, in Derry.  The reception was in a marquee in the garden of the bride's family home which sounds very posh but wasn't really. it was all very relaxed and casual and one of the best weddings I ever attended but maybe I'm biased.  And as a bonus, Liverpool won the European Cup that same night which added another layer of celebration to what was already a very happy occasion and we sang and danced into the wee small hours.

I was trying to upload a picture of me in my wedding finery but it keeps coming out sideways.  I then tried to change it to my profile picture but again it kept coming out sideways and there are no options to move/resize or rotate the image.  Extremely frustrating! It's a fairly simple process to upload a picture and it should be straight forward but the OU seems to be years behind with updating the technology and what you can do with your blog.

Meanwhile, back in the world of politics, we have the 'night of the long knives' as the egotistical and obnoxious scrabble about for the job of PM and leadership of the Tory party.  Boris, 'the buffoon' is, of course, the front runner, making him the prime target for the Neo-Liberal Fascists in the media and the EU.  Don't be fooled by the 'tomfoolery', Boris Johnson is a perfect example of the old saying, 'stupid as a fox!'  Which could be dodgy enough for Boris, considering the Tory position on foxes???

Maybe it's just me but there is something profoundly repulsive about Jeremy Hunt, he has a strange starey look about the eyes which I don't trust and makes me suspect he may actually be, I was going to say Artificial Intelligence, but I have serious doubts about the intelligence part of that but most certainly, very artificial or just full of artifice.

Rory Stewart seems like a reasonable human being but then I remember he is a Tory!  I don't have a favourite, after all, they are all Tories but when you sit back and look at the whole thing, you realise what a complete and total farce it all is.  An unseemly scrabble between weak men with big egos because lets face it, if there was a real man among them, he would stand out a mile.

I have to say, though, wasn't that an interesting bit of gossip about Michael Gove and his past dalliance with cocaine? Old dull and boring Gove, who would have thought it?  Although, they do say, it's the quiet ones you have to watch, I wonder what else he gets up to??  Can't you just picture him in all that bondage gear getting a damned good thrashing from a dominatrix!  Hmmm,,. maybe I should consider a career change...

Meanwhile, things are hotting up in the Middle East as the dark forces of the ‘Empire’ (CIA, Saudi Arabia, Mossad, Bilderburg) up their game in an attempt to start the war to seize control of Iran’s oil.

When I look back now at the events of the last 19 years, I have to wonder was it a coincidence that the secular states in the Middle East were the ones to be attacked and the leadership removed, think Iraq, Libya and the attempt to topple Assad in Syria.  Was the dark hand of Saud operating in the background and pulling some of the strings all this time?  It is refreshing to see that online, at least, the attack on the ships in the Hormuz Strait is fooling no-one and I haven't seen a comment yet that believes Iran was responsible.  Will that stop the sabre-rattling and a war?  I would hope so but considering the past and Iraq, I doubt it...

Boris, burkas & Bentine!

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Aideen Devine, Sunday, 12 Aug 2018, 17:56

So, Boris (the buffoon?) has upset many with his comments on burkas.  I managed to catch a bit of the debate on the Jeremy Vine show the other day; completely by accident, I might add, as I actively avoid news and talk shows as much as possible but I'd left the radio on while I was out doing a bit of gardening and had come back in for some lunch.  Of course, many were getting very self-righteous and demanding he apologise, but it seemed that equally as many were in support with the media, as ever, getting hysterical and doing its best to whip up a frenzy.  I'm not a fan of Boris Johnson and although we were on the same side in the Brexit referendum, he would definitely not be a natural ally.  I would, however, be a huge fan of his mother’s art and if you ever get the chance to go see it, then I would highly recommend it.  Her name is Charlotte Johnson, for anyone who’s interested.

On the whole burka debate, I have to confess having had similar thoughts myself on the whole, head to toe in black, garb but it wasn't letter boxes that came to mind. I remember the first time I saw a picture of a fully veiled woman, I was immediately reminded of a show I watched when I was young, Bentine Time, with the inimitable, Michael Bentine.  Now, I don't remember many details but I do remember he used to do these little puppet shows and there was one with spies or some such, and they were all in black with only their noses visible and that was the first thought that popped in to my head when I saw the picture.  Is that racism or Islamaphobia? I don't think so, it's not racism because Islam is not a race.  Islamaphobia? Hardly, it’s just a thought, my mind making a connection between two things that had similarities.  I get the same thing here when the Orange Order or any other group starts on about marching and their right to march.  The first thing that pops into my head is Barney the Dinosaur, my daughter was a big fan when she was young, saying march, march, march!  Maybe it’s just my natural instinct to draw comparisons between the absurd, the farcical and the comic, I’ll leave you to decide which is which.

This whole debate centres around what Muslim women wear and their right to choose and this is the problem I have with the burka.  In many cases, it is not a choice, it is an imposition, a cultural imposition in a patriarchal society dressed up as the ‘will of God’.  Now, there are those who say they choose to wear the niqab, hijab or burka as a symbol of their faith and they should have the right to do so, but I am not convinced.  I do, however, understand the mentality of women who defend that decision.  I remember back in the worst of the troubles when the British government took up a stance against all things Irish Republican and banned Gerry Adams from speaking on air.  Because I was brought up as an Irish Catholic and this was against 'our side', then you supported them even when it wasn't doing you or anybody else any favours.  But since I've never been convinced of any particular group's right to martyrdom or sainthood, especially when your so-called 'saviours' are the very people keeping your community down and subjecting them to terror and thuggery, as you grow up you question these ‘loyalties’ more and begin to see through the propaganda and brainwashing that allows the ‘believers’ to be exploited by others.

As for the ‘religious freedom’ side of this debate, I have absolutely no sympathy.  You are free to believe in whatever God you wish but it should be a private matter between you and the God you choose, had imposed upon you or were brainwashed into believing in.  Because the reality is, very few people ever actually choose their religion, it was usually chosen or imposed on them by their parents and/or the society they grew up in.  How many of us would believe in the religion we were brought up in, if we had never been told about Jesus or Mohamed or Buddha or any of them?  Would you even have a belief in a God if you had been left to decide for yourself purely on your own experience and if you did, what form would your ‘God’ take?

As to the question of burkas, what logic is there in an all-powerful, all-knowing being, who allegedly created and controls the entire universe, concerning itself with what a few women wear here on Earth? If this powerful, all-knowing deity made everything then, ‘it’ made women too, and if you truly believed in your God’s ‘greatness’, then how could a woman be a lesser thing than a man?  Surely, this God’s ‘creations’ would all have equal value; for how could something created by a ‘God’ be less than perfect?   And I’m absolutely certain an omnipotent, omniscient deity does not need some uptight, over-zealous patriarch acting on ‘its’ behalf and handing out diktats on clothing, cutting off anyone's genitalia or fighting its battles either.

As to women in burkas looking like bank robbers, I have to disagree with Boris on this one.  Bank robbers these days are more apt to look like Boris.  The traditional idea of a bank robber as someone who goes in and steals the bank’s money, sorry, our money, has actually reversed.  Now, the robbers are the bankers, gambling and losing our money and then robbing the public purse (with the complicity of the Government) to cover their debts with our money again!!!  Funny, I don’t hear the media getting too hysterical over that one!
