Procrastination

Isn't it strange that people post that they really must no procrastinate and put aside their Open University studies. Why do they promise in a post to study? Spend the time it takes to write, edit and post on opening a book, any book at all; a dictionary, a book on aliens or dinosaurs or preferably the OU study books.

 

If someone is doing a Creative Writing module or one on English, then post and keep posting until they have it all down pat. Otherwise, they are wasting time and energy resources. They are creating a bad habit and feeding their ego with a half-satisfied inner smile that they have accomplished something. Writing blog posts is a fools errand if the writer is studying something that does not require writing practice.
