After today will be my first 'week break'.
The last couple of months has given me a craving for learning so I'll be using this time for something...a bit more exciting!
I'm going to do the Egyptian mathematics and Babylonian mathematics! One at a time of course.
I recon it'll be a good experience to see how mathematics has developed in different regions over the last few 100s of years.
So this last month has been crazy...not just maths wise but life wise! The world has gone to hell! BUT I'm rocking the Algebra, it's going in so well!
2 ICMAs and almost 2 TMAs down and I'm doing myself proud, still need to practice surds but other than that, in confident!
Officially an Undergraduate!
I can't stress enough how glad I am that I did the Ebadge courses, so far in module 1, all of the subjects I've come across are similar to what I previously learnt, meaning I'm improving my skills rather than learning new ones completely.
It's been very reassuring with my capabilities.
I've come across a couple of Maths related E-badges I can obtain, which is nice! Completed my first one last night, first time in a while I've felt an academic achievement. Part 2 to go!
Due to not being able to complete the 'OU free course' that teaches you the ins and outs until closer my module date, I've decided I'll start in 4 weeks prior to my course, which is less than a week! It's starting to feel real now, so excited!
Received my first module books in the post, wow is it alot... At first it was slightly intimidating but now? Now I'm just so excited to learn, it's a whole new chapter and is enabling me to do every I can for not only myself, but for my family.
Really excited for February, I even enrolled on the free course to learn the ins and outs of OU, might as well right? All going well so far!
Officially enrolled! Bring on February!
Currently awaiting my student finance to be accepted so I can start my next chapter. Going from a warehouse operative to a graduate in mathematics and statistics!
