Just to wish everyone a happy holiday.

Be kind to each other.

I am working Christmas night and Boxing day night.

The money was too good to turn down, so 6pm to 6am it is for me tonight

Merry Christmas

Visible to anyone in the world

i will not be around tomorrow, so I want to take the opportunity today, to wish all my OU cohorts a happy Christmas and a peaceful new year.

hopefully 2019 will bring us all good grades and light at the end of our degree pathway tunnels.

It looks like my blog views will pass 60,000 by tomorrow, so thank you to everyone for that, I think 60,000 is an excellent achievement and I thank you all for taking the time to visit my blog.

I will be using the Christmas break to try and get ahead of the study planner, I usually do and in previous year it has given me some much needed breathing room leading up to the last section of the course.

So thank you for 2018 everyone and I will see you all in the new year,

Have a cool yule you all...

Did everyone survive?

Visible to anyone in the world

So hopefully you all got through Christmas day okay.

We went to have dinner with auntie Nikita. Due to the age of her children, much of the day was taken up building playmobile airplanes, police cars and trucks, plus much Lego was built.

Which was great fun. Little Ana, who is three got a doctors play set, which meant alot of ear checking and reflex tests.

Dinner was tasty, so all in all, a lovely day

Hopefully you all had a good day, without any hassle or arguments.

A difficult time of year

Visible to anyone in the world

I work in health and social care.

It is frustrating when other people talk about what the 'true meaning' of christmas is.

For those of us who work in the health and social care sector, christmas is about many things, many of them difficult and saddening.

But people don't really want to hear about that.

The social mine field

Visible to anyone in the world

Its that time of year,

Time to cross the social mine field of the works' christmas dinner.

I don't drink alcohol, which people at work know, however the christmas dinner this afternoon will mean two hours of 'go on, one drink will not hurt' or ' is it not boring if you do not drink'

At least we get three hours off of work...
