I'm a teacher (as well as an OU student).
The key to successful teaching (and learning (and life?)) lies in a labour of love, in being able to engage in a task because you want to, not because you have to.
And last night's BBC's Beautiful Equations is the type of thing that deeply motivates me to keep studying, learning and sometimes teaching (although I'm a bit of a discouraged teacher of late).
Many of my research moments of brilliance stem from listening to the wonderful BBC programme The Forum.
Finally, a word of praise for the fantastic teachers.tv. Their videos are so so useful and inspirational. Please keep it up, despite the cuts.
Night night.
