In the Okanagan legend "The Summer-Maker," Ojeeg, a brave fisher, embarks on a perilous journey to bring summer to the frozen north for his son. With the help of animal companions, he cracks open the sky, releasing warmth and birds to the earth. Though his quest costs him his life, Ojeeg's sacrifice brings the changing seasons to the world.
