Long Time No See :)

Visible to anyone in the world

I'm busy being a Digital Editor - all things First World War 1900 to 1923 or thereabouts. I'll be covering the years 1850 to 1949 in due course ... and the entire 20th century! That war has a long shadow.

Otherwise Town Council stuff and Green Party.

Swim Teaching and Coaching.

And Life Drawing twice a month. Got to keep my hand in.

That and Lingvist for my French most days.

The only thing I put on a New Year's Resolution list 5 years ago that I have not done is pick up and play the guitar, or sail much or ski at all.

Oh, well, you can't have everything.

Swim Coaching, Scenario-based e-learning, Green Party Council, Digital Editor ...

Visible to anyone in the world

And back to Life Drawing next week (I'm on holiday).

What gives? Extinction Rebellion. I can support at arms length but I think being active and getting myself arrested is too disruptive and potentially career damaging - though it gets people's attention when I talk about it. Suddenly I am a serious Green, a Green that breathes fire. As I expressed at the Green Party Conference last month the Green Dragon needs to rise.

The First World War

Visible to anyone in the world

My interest has paid off. I became the Digital Editor for all online content for the Western Front Association last week. The work's cut out for me. There are over 4,000 pages to refresh and bring up to current search engine optimization criteria. Other than that I can indulge my interest in everything to do with the First World War.

It may also bring me to the OU to complete an MA in History: I have 60 credits and guess I need another 60 or so.
