Blue Remembered Hills: A View of Helvellyn

Visible to anyone in the world
Edited by Richard Walker, Saturday 11 April 2026 at 15:50

Into my heart an air that kills

From yon far country blows:

What are those blue remembered hills,

What spires, what farms are those?

That is the land of lost content,

I see it shining plain,

The happy highways where I went

And cannot come again.

O'er the hills and far away

Visible to anyone in the world

Tom, he was a Piper's Son, And fell in love when he was young; But the only Tune that he could play, Was o'er the Hills, and far away.

My heart leaps up...

Visible to anyone in the world
My heart leaps up when I behold
   A rainbow in the sky.

A friend captured this view from the top of Cat Bells at 09:27 this morning.
